The short version

Use ABAFlow only for payment files you are authorised to create. Check every payment and file total before downloading and again in your bank. ABAFlow creates the file; it does not submit or authorise the payment.

01

Using ABAFlow

These Terms of Service apply when you access or use the ABAFlow website, converter, dashboard or Developer API (the Service). By using the Service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

ABAFlow is a business name registered to Helix Intelligence Pty Ltd (ABN 34 167 132 014). In these terms, ABAFlow, we, us and our refer to that business.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act for the business or organisation whose payment data you use.

02

What the Service does

ABAFlow validates payment data and creates Australian ABA bank-payment files from spreadsheets or authorised API requests. Depending on the plan you use, the Service may also provide conversion history, saved bank settings, integrity hashes and related account features.

ABAFlow is a payment-file creation service. It is not a bank, payroll system, accounting system, clearing house, SuperStream service or financial adviser. We do not hold, transfer, submit or authorise customer funds.

03

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the payment instructions and information you provide. Before generating or using an ABA file, you must:

  • confirm that you are authorised to create the payments;
  • check recipient names, BSBs, account numbers, amounts and descriptions;
  • enter the sender and Direct Entry details required or permitted by your bank;
  • review any warnings, blocking errors, payment counts and totals; and
  • review the file details again in your banking platform before authorising payment.

You remain responsible for meeting your banking, payroll, tax, superannuation, record-keeping and other legal obligations.

04

Accounts and security

Visitors may validate a file and use paid guest checkout without an account. Free files, subscriptions, dashboard history and saved settings require a verified account. Developer API access requires a valid API credential.

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in and API credentials, and tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it resulted from our failure to take reasonable security steps.

05

Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful, authorised business purposes. You must not:

  • create fraudulent, deceptive, unauthorised or unlawful payment instructions;
  • upload information you do not have the right to use;
  • attempt to bypass validation, security, usage or access controls;
  • interfere with the Service or use it to distribute malicious code; or
  • copy, reverse engineer or misuse the Service except where the law expressly permits it.
06

Files and data

Your uploaded payment-file contents and generated ABA-file contents are processed to provide the Service and are not retained by ABAFlow as part of your conversion history after processing.

We may retain limited activity metadata such as filename, timestamps, payment-line count, aggregate total, selected bank, transaction date, status, billing references and one-way SHA-256 file fingerprints. Logged metadata does not include recipient names, BSBs, account numbers, individual payment amounts or payment descriptions.

If you choose to save bank settings, those settings remain in your account until you change or delete them. Our handling of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

07

Fees and subscriptions

Current prices and plan inclusions are shown on our Pricing page or in an agreed order. A verified account receives five production ABA files free once, with no card or subscription required. The free allocation is valid for six calendar months from the eligibility start date and each free file is subject to the normal technical maximum of 100,000 payment lines. One free file is consumed only after successful production generation. Pay per file fees use the server-calculated payment count and price for the applicable conversion. Subscription plans renew automatically at the stated billing interval until cancelled.

You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and you retain access until then. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a subscription price increase that applies to a future renewal.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card number or card security code.

08

Refunds and service problems

We do not provide refunds for a change of mind or a partially used subscription period, except where required by law.

If a technical failure in ABAFlow prevents a paid file from being generated or delivered, contact us. We will investigate and, where appropriate, re-perform the service, restore access, credit the affected conversion or refund the affected fee. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

09

Availability and changes

We work to keep ABAFlow secure and available, but we do not promise that the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, provider outages, security events or changes to banking requirements may affect availability.

We may improve, replace or discontinue features. If a material change adversely affects a paid subscription, we will give reasonable notice where practical.

10

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the information you provide. You give us the limited permission needed to process that information and provide the Service.

ABAFlow and its software, design, validation rules, documentation and branding belong to us or our licensors. Your right to use the Service is limited, non-exclusive and cannot be transferred except as part of an authorised business account.

11

Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by incorrect or unauthorised payment data, a failure to review the file, bank rejection, banking-platform availability, or use of the Service contrary to these terms.

Where the law allows our liability to be limited, our liability for a failure in the Service is limited to supplying the Service again or paying the reasonable cost of having it supplied again. This limitation does not apply where it would be unlawful or unfair to do so.

12

Suspension and termination

You may stop using ABAFlow at any time and may close an account through the available account controls or by contacting us.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, prevent fraud or address non-payment. We will provide notice where it is reasonable and lawful to do so.

13

General terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Service, law or business operations. We will publish the updated effective date and give reasonable notice of material changes.

If part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the parties submit to the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia.
